Well been real busy lately though I would post up some progress on the projects. I gutted the 83's nitrous kit and all the wiring out. Rewired all the accessories.

I removed my Super Powershot kit and window switch and upgraded to a NOS Big Shot kit and a progressive controller tied in with a relay so that when im at the line I can launch without the nitrous on, but as soon as I let go of the transbrake the nitrous comes on.
Im also going with a dedicated fuel system with a 1 gallon cell mounted on the drivers front well with a holley Black series pump. Should be good for any amount of gas I want to throw at this thing. I built the motor to handle a good shot of spray and the powershot only goes to 200 shot. I plan on cracking this thing open soon.

I have the seats and tracks removed making way for the new kirkey seats to get mounted! Lightening this heavy bugger up!

After that it will be 90/10's and a new pair of shoes! Wink

The 67 has been coming along as well.... Have both Quarters, tailpan,Outer wheel wells, and rear deck lid in place and Im doing the finish welding on it right now. Getting everything straight. Its coming along nicely but still needs a massive amount of work.

At least I have no more rust on the car!

Nice work Zac!!

I dig the way you have the NOS setup with the transbrake disengage. Seems like a logical way to have a progressive controler.

Hopefully she'll be deep in the 10's pushing 9's!

What style of cage do you have? Looks like just a 6 point?

What do you mean dedicated fuel system? That is a supplimental thank right? The big one is somewhere else?

Wow Zac, I'm consistantly impressed by how you manage to throw down better and better times while still keeping all kinds of factory stuff. I just realized you have the stock GM cruise control still in there too. Shocked Great job man.

Thanks guys!

The cage is a CGS chassis 8 point and yes I have a regular tank for the motor the dedicated fuel system is for nitrous only. Once I get to the single digits I know I will have to add the top hoop and go to a 10 point cage but I will cross that line when I get there. for now an 8 point will suffice lol

Lol yea there are plenty of stock parts on er still.
