Three thirdgens and a charger worth more than all the thirdgens put together!

I really need to get a camera and stop using my cell phone.

Somehow it doesn't surprise me that you're surfing the crew site on your phone. Laughing ....what phone do you have?

Oh, only the 'vert is mine. Miamivice (aka Fish) owns the rest of them. And soon they'll all be move under their own power! (because of pretty much the entire Portland area crew.)

I got the funky sleeve finally, and I have the accelerator cable on the way. Fish snapped the bolt that holds the sleeve retainer when we were putting it in this last weekend but we needed to pull the tailshaft anyway to get the new gear on there. He yanked it off and I have it with me to pull the broken bolt out. Other than the cable, a good charged battery, the gear, another torque arm/bushing we should be ready to roll I think.

ian. i just picked up an AT&T tilt, with unlimited internet, telnav GPS, palmpilot features and tethering ability (i can use it as a wireless modem for my laptop). it's pretty sweet. i have both email accounts set up on it, since i have email notifications enabled on the crew sight i essentially get a notification every time i get a PM. Smile and i can reply to said PM with IE from the phones interface. so i now have the crew sight wherever i go.

why do i need all this crap you may ask? well, i just picked up a four month contract in L.A. and i will be roaming unfamiliar streets, and need directions on the go. the tether ability will be essential as many areas do not have wireless internet and uploading my files at the end of the night with a 28.8KBP modem connection is not fun. the email will allow me to stay in touch with the office from anywhere. and i have needed a personal organizer for a long time (palm pilot stuff).

and it has pac-man. Surprised

the only thing it does not do that my old chepie phone was able to do is assign ringers by call group. before i had all my work contacts in one group, with their own ringer. family in another group with it's own ringer, friends in a third, and then i also had a group just for the crew, with a unique ringer. (fuel, by metallica). the new phone does not allow this. either every contact uses the main ringer, or i set each contact individually. stupid windows mobile.

so fishes birds might be back on the road soon eh? right on. is he daily-ing the general right now?

I'm a Treo 755 fan. If you are indeed running the Palm OS then check out www.mytreo.net . They have a downloads section thats pretty sweet. Lots of freeware/shareware. I don't have GPS enabled on mine but googlemaps is really sweet.

Nice pics, could not tell they were from a cell phone.

Picked up a Blackjack II for free w/ a 24 month PDA contract and bought the telenav pack too. good times

Palm OS > Windows CE

Nothing is a palm pilot unless it runs Palm OS. Everything else is a PDA (personal digital assistant). In my opinion, mobile devices are not ready for multi-tasking operating systems. And as far as pictures, my phone has a 2 mega pixel camera but most other phones have more.
