I read a long time ago that all camaro had the wires for power seats under the carpet.. is that true?..

I had a v6 camaro once that did NOT have the wires.

my v6 firebird has no such wires. my GTA that came original with power seats DOES have wires. it's just (+) and (-). you can run them yourself with ease if you install power seats.

alright, idk if the guy who wrote it knew what he was talking about or not.. so about how long would it take to install the new seats then?

If they're F-body seats, they should bolt right in. Don't forget an in-line fuse on the power wire. Since I've never put any in, I couldn't tell what size to use.

I installed mine in a hour. You need two wires. Helps if you have the wiring from the seat them self. It ws two wires on mine. I then ran one wire to ground used the seat mount. ANd one wire to the fuse panel.



I used the same gauge wire as came from the seats. Have a spare battery so you can adjust the seats when you mount them to the seats. and to the floor
