Hey all!,
Shultzy turned me on to this site from 3rdgen. I have an 86 T/A w/305 tpi. i just picked up, its very straight and has zero rust but needs a lot of little things. nickel and dime to death on the way...
I have replaced the inner and outer door handles, hatch lift assy, ignitcion tumbler, CTS, and hatch struts. still need hood struts, hatch lock, headlight prob fix, and the brakes seem weak but it has been sitting for 5 months.. its my first later model f body, i also have a 76 formula 400 and 76 t/a 400.
I am at Mtn Home AFB. Good to be here. i was suprised to find such an active board in Idaho Smile
i am more a ford guy than gm but shultzy said it woul not be held against me Laughing

me thinks it looks good Smile it needs paint and some minor rust repair but it was $1k and ended up running with a battery and a starter, has a pretty good black interior, and a new master cyl made it drivable!

welcome to the crew. not alot of idaho guys one here yet. i think you are the third active member.

stormy; dou you have the remote hatch pop option on your TA? it's the botton on the dash you hit to pop the rear hatch open. you mentioned needing a new hatch lock so i thought i'd ask. i have a hatch pop solenoid i have been trying to give away for a while now...

Hey James - welcome to the crew.

BTW, I never promised they wouldn't hold the F*rd thing against you I just thought the odds were pretty good that they wouldn't Laughing

Would like to have more guys from Idaho and Eastern Washington active but so far not too many. Spokane has a real active hot rod culture and there are a few guys out there that stay active on the board at least.

Cheers,

-Schultzy

Welcome to the crew...

The Pinto sounds very much like an ongoing project within the crew using a Chevette with a Camaro 2.8L power plant which he wants to turbo.
