SB 6900 is probably dead. The bill was re-referred to the appropriate committee for initial consideration without recommendation.

The legislators listed are not the ones to be contacted at this point.

It was initially referred to the wrong committee: Senate Water, Energy, and Environment Committee, and then re-referred to Transportation, where, as of now, it hasn't received a hearing, and will probably not get a hearing.

Tom is an idiot; a turncoat Republican who became a democrat last cycle; he briefly was running against Cong. Dave Reichert (WA- Cool

but was bounced because he'd been a dem for about 10 minutes.

What he's doing here is polishing his leftist enviro cred. But my sense is this is going no where... if for no other reason than this is an election year for half the Senate and all of the House.

The cosigners to this bill were all fringe left types in safe districts. This bill had no chance, and was based, from what I'm hearing, on posturing for Tom.
