last year i had to pull out my 700R to get rebuilt, put it back in. drives great.
now i got a nice rattling noise coming from the engine bay...
first i thought it was the AIR pump, then i thought was exhaust, then i got it on the lift today and fired it up, sound like its coming from the tranny, so im thinking torque converter Crying or Very sad now i gotta pull the trans again!
WHY ME!!!!

It's not just you man.

Might be a loose converter bolt, or trans bolt. Check those first.

good news, the guy at cottman thinks its just the flex plate cracking or a loose TC bolt, not the actual torque converter

Cottman Trans? You failed to mention any of this to me. Maybe I should have them check my tranny and find the reason why my trans shifts at 3K rpm at WOT. Anyway, there go's your higher stall and lower ET's.
