Well since the ol girlfriend is deep in her studies for finals I've had some time to work on it.

All that's left to fire the engine:
-Belt
-Connect wires to the ECU plugs
-Exhaust EGR Block Off Plate
-O2 Bung

Otherwise everything is hooked up. All the gauges and lights function.
Fuel/Boost-Vac/Tach/Water/Oil/Volts. Push button starter, fuel/fan switches. None of the wires are tucked away, since the ECU isn't hooked up yet I don't wanna tie everything together if something is awry. I do have one quirk. When I engage the reverse lights, the rear parking lights come on very dim. Seems like a ground cycling. Chase it down later. I wanna fire this bad boy!

My soldering iron died tonight.
I plan to pick up an aftermarket coil, that's why those wires arent tucked. I'll build some plug wire looms also.

The floor pans aren't actually rusting. It's left over grinding dust :OP Plenty of cleanup after things get tucked.

SO CLOSE!

-Paul

Saweet! You have been a busy boy the last few days. I particularly like that you are still rocking the tarantula shift knob Cool .

Nah wiring is easy, welding is what's tough. Embarassed

Nice work Paul, starting to actually look like a strip car, and not a rusted pile. I like that shifter.

hmm, I'm fine with welding, I always mess up anything with wires though. most of my problems with my car are electrical.
