|
|
Well I just got my car back from the exhaust shop and boy even w/ a resonator, catalytic converter, and a "quiet" dynomax muffler the car still has an annoying "vrrrrrrr" from the inside. Quiet as anything at idle or cruise, but any engine load and it just hurts your ears from the resonation inside the cabin.
What I am looking for is a 3" inlet, 2.25+ dual outlet, that is resonated... I dont care if the tip is chrome or stainless, but prefer not mild steel.
So far the only resonated tips I can find are either single outlet, or not 3" inlet.
Somebody help, my ears hurt haha. |

| Do your exhaust tips now exit past the rear bumper? |

I dont have an exhaust tip at this point, it's just the muffler outlet, which I believe/hope is causing sound to bounce off the inside of my rear bumper and into the cab, making the droning seem worse than it actually is. But on the off chance it's not that, I would like resonated tips to help atleast a little. |

| Can't help you on the resonated tips... but I will say when I built my exhaust I didn't have the tips yet. Exited straight into the back of the inside rear bumper. Was crazy droning. Tips made a huge different. |

Thanks, I like the encouragement
My goal for this exhaust was to be as quiet as stock, just with a different exhaust note. Hoping resonated tips will give me the extra little quiet that I need. |
