that is way cool. I wonder how they managed to shove a recording device of sorts into the head, and allow it to maintain enough compression to still fire.

Since the video appears to be looped, the equipment used only needed to survive through one cycle. Pretty neat stuff though.

I wish the would have shown a full cycle, I would have liked to see the scavaging from the overlap.

There is a plexi-glass cylinder walled engine here at Western Washington University. You can watch it go for a certain amount of time. Kinda neat.

I would have liked to have seen some scavaging on that vid. Very cool though to see the air hit the valve though.
