john, he has 16" irocs on the car if memory serves.
brizio. it's spelled "tire". i know it sounds like a 'y'. in english when you have an 'e' at the end of a word with an 'i' in it it usualy changes the 'i' from its soft sound (like in english ) to a hard sound (like in tire, fire, hire ) i say "usualy" because most rules in the eglish language are broken by atleast a few words. and many rules of grammer and convension are broken by MOST people when they talk. that is just how we do it on this side of the pond.
you will have to teach me some italian next time we see each other |

Tony.
In ENGLISH it is spelled Tyre, in AMERICAN it is Tire.
Brizio, Kuhmo 712's seem popular in that size, and they aren't too expensive. If you want to drop a good ammount of money, the Goodyear DSG3 is a GREAT tire, but exepensive, and wears very fast.
What price range are you looking for.
PS -- Sign me up for the Italian lessons. Grazie.

I got my Falken Zeix 512's for $393 at America's tire. I'm very happy with them so far. Got 6000 miles on them and no wear at all, and they still stick like glue. GREAT rain tire by the way.
Edit: Just found these on portland craigs list. Might get you by for awhile. For $75 for the set, not bad at all.

and you did it wrong.
"Buy thy blacke coloured tyres at ye olde tyre shoppe down yon road to thine left"
"Thou hast purchased yon blacke coloured tyres"
"Thy pocketbook decreases in pounds, Thy experience hast increased by 2"

Lol, such a dork. And I understood it, so i'm a dork by association!
I have some Hancook RS-2's to put on my 16x8's. I also ran Ohtsu HS401's. Just dont get an econo tire and you'll be fine. Unless you plan to road race the car, it won't matter too much what you get. |

@Xophertony, Don't worry thank you to correct me... : )
@Dewey316, About the PIR, maybe tomorrow evening, after the Beaverton parade... : ) Maybe I caan be a the PIR aroun 4:00PM...
About the Italian lesson, sei il benvenuto. (you are welcome) : )
Now I have a better Idea for wich tire search... This because now the Camaro wear 245 45 r 16. And when I will ship it in Italy for register it like a "Historical car" it need wear original tire... So 245 50 r 16... And buy here the tire is more cheap than buy it in Italy...
If not If I must keep this size 245 45 r 16, I must go in Germany with the car make there the TUV and after remake all the registration in Italy... But is very very expensive... Almost 2K$!!! |

Today I ask at Cosco too, and I find:
BFG G-Force Sport for 114.99$ each
BFG G-Force KDW T.T. for 169.99
I think to stay around this price... |

-Brizio, I've never used the BFG G-Force tires, but the old BFG Comp TA's on my IROC have made me never want to mess with anything they make again, especially for that price.
-Dewey, tirerack.com and Discount Tire don't seem to stock the 712's anymore. Most HP Kumho's in stock seem to be ASX and AST. |
