So I'm not sure what i actually have but i know for a fact it isn't posi and its drum brakes. I want to change this without breaking the bank so please be nice. Let me know what you all have and be on the lookout at the JY's for me. I'm thinking either 3.23's or 3.73's would be great. thanks tons!

If I head to the J/Y anytime soon I'll see if I cant spot a 9 bolt anywhere around. Almost all came w/ 3.xx gears and disc brakes. Plus they are tons stronger than a stock 10 bolt.
Total conversion will probably cost you less than 500 (add up all extra bolts, gaskets, etc) |

Jake,
That yard that Tony and Paul are going to has a WCT5 in a 90? firebird and I know there's at least two Posi rear's there. I think one is like a 2.73/3.08 though.
Not sure what the ratio of the other was. All were drum though. _________________

How hard would it be to swap my brake set up, or find a disc brake set up?
Sounds like it could be a pretty sweet deal.

| you will have to re-drill your 10-bolt backing plates to fit the 9 bolt. there are templates on TGO for this. do you have disc or drum? the templates are for disc. |

Ikm no exactly sure what you would need but if all else fails you could but all new calipers disks and pads and have a brand new system in the rear aswell. i dont think anything is outrageously priced in those parts race for the 9 bolt.
the guy never called me back with the info on his rear last night so i dont know exactly whats going on yet. ill call him back today. _________________ 87 Camaro Z28 - Iroc-Z |

I'll keep my eye on the yards. Does it have to be a posi rear? _________________
