Cascade Crew

For me, this was an eventful weekend. Not only was it a great gathering - a first in Southern Oregon, but lots of work to many cars, mine getting sub frame connectors installed (thanks Rod and Paul).

Once the car was up and supported, the connectors and car body were fitted, marked, and ground for welding.

Though not required, the connectors were also welded to the body along the sides, mostly using round stock as a filler to bridge the gap between body and connector.

Noticeable difference, a bit flatter than it was already, and a few more rattles went away (except the windows).

Cool. Looks like the install went fairly well. I'll have to look into doing the upgrade in my LT1. They were Spohn right? They looked hella beef-cake when i saw them last weekend.

Except for not getting the exhaust completely together afterwards, it went pretty well. I think we lost a gasket that connects the passenger side manifold to the Y-pipe, the system is up tight and still leaks. A good excuse to install the headers I have. I added the mod in the garage and thought it would be neat use "Cascade Crew" as the installer. "Private Owner" just doesn't seem right in this case, it was kind of a crew job after all Smile

. I'm sure others could use that for some of their mods.
