with the whole third gen thing....sad day.
my motor is pretty much toast. terrible noise coming out of the oil pan like a feroucious rattling. definant bottom end prob.im letting the car go for cheap. check out my craigslist add.if any of you guys want it ill give you a better deal.

Jake, sorry to here about your trouble. But reading your ad it seems you have a brand new motor, cylinder heads, the works! You could have that thing running hard in one weekend, buddy! Maybe this trouble is just an excuse to swap out the engine. Give it a few days before you do anything. You've got a sweet car that you're making better every day. Just hang in there and you'll be really happy with the results. On the bright side it will be worth more if you get it running too. Parts breaking goes with the hobby. And an LS1 car won't necessarily break any less. It will just cost more in the long run. |

well i bought the heads for 400. then took them to the machine shop and they charged me 200. so that said i just want my money out of them 600 firm. _________________ gas brake dip dip |
