I don't have any for you but if you have trouble finding them I was able to buy one right off the accessories rack at my local NAPA.
Good luck,

what piece is broken Quasi? the steel rod that goes down into the door or the actual handle? i think i could get away with just a set of handles.

| http://www.spaldings.com/ here is the largest recking yard in the NW they have just about everything. after winning the bid for chopping up the new GM cars from hurricane katrina. It made me sick watching them chopping up the new vettes and gto's. they also sell after market parts aswell. |

if you have at least 1 pair (driver/passenger) that's not broken, meaning they work, i'll take 'em.
i can't imagine shipping is more than a few bucks.... _________________ we all gotta start somewhere.... |

They work, there's just a bit of slop on the handles themselves. _________________

What's that rod do? I heard a snap and a metallic tinging and that thing bounced across the pavement the other day but my handle doesn't seem any more loose than normal. _________________

I'm not sure...I think it just creates extra tension on the handle so you don't have to pull it up as far for the door to unlatch. My driver door one has been broken for as long as I've had the car. Never been too much of a problem. _________________

| I haven't taken mine completely apart to study it, but as far as I can tell the rod keeps the handle from flopping up and down. It will still work, it's just more rattling noise when you drive. |

If we are talking about the same 'rod' I believe it acts as a spring for the handle itself (as Aaron has said). Mine broke off and the handle rattled around pretty bad. It would still open the door but no longer held itself firmly against the door panel.

Yeah, I've got the same problem Mike. At some point I'm gonna take it apart and fix it. I've been slowly trying to reduce the noise of the car. It's killing me to drive it.
First step though is to get rid of that goddamned Flowcrapster. Anybody want it? |
