Hey Guys,

Does anyone know of any hot rod clubs in the area? I am looking to find an owner and a car willing and wanting to do a retro pin up photo shoot with a 2 ladies. This will be 50's era, so cars/rides that would have been cruising around at that time is what we are after. If any body knows any clubs, contacts, or people whom I could try to contact to find someone please let me know.

(This is a small part of a larger project...and yes, I will share some with you guys Wink )

hehe you know he would. He has a pretty sweet '55 Bel Air but it is not period correct if you are looking for a retro type shoot. His has some modern touches such as more modern wheels/tires.

He is down here in Vancouver, WA though if you are interested.

Aha. Right you are sir. Looks like the Holiday was the only one to get it too. The other 88's I've seen on eBay were all either post or vert.

Sedans are post. Hard top cars have no post. You'll see that all the way up till they quit making post cars. Even the base chevelles were post(300), while the hardtops(malibu and SS) didnt have that. I can't think of any cars after the velle that had posts.

Novas had them into the early-mid 70's. I think.

Some of the early ones didn't. I think they switched to the little window in the mid 70's.

Fish,
I had lunch with my Dad today. After I described the photo of the models that are looking for a car to pose with, he re-iterated what I assumed would be an enthusiastic commitment to help out on this project if needed Wink
