|
|
1) Get a rear brake proportioning valve
2) Resurface Rear rotors, replace rear pads
3) Bleed brakes
4) Get wipers working
5) Replace passenger E-brake cable.
6) Put Rear sway bar back on
7) get new tags/registration
8) Install "temporary" exhaust (likely a couple short 3" pipes to glasspacks)
9) Get rear tires rebalanced, checked for leaks
I have roughly two months.....providing nothing catastrophic happens...I should be good to roll the berlinetta to skamokawa! _________________

if this gets done relatively soon (I.e, within a weekend or two...) fundage will definately be there.
I'm itching to get this thing on the road ASAP.
paul, what's the ETA for the wilwood? I'd like an adjustable, but right now I just want something to get me by...and free is an offer I will not refuse.
The wipers are the biggest thing I'll need help with....I'm still kind of a dead-head at troubleshooting with electrical.
yeah, I'll just put a breather on it, keep some extra plugs in the car, watch the oil level, and try not to drive it too hard, and pray I don't lose all my compression. _________________

Cool Chris. It will be nice to see you piloting a thirdgen at a gathering. BTW, what is this 'try not to drive it too hard' crap? Like Hammer man says, drive it like you stole it!

HIs reverse lights don't work because he doesn't have the proper wiring for it. He needs to do what we did on yours and tap the green/blue and run wires/plug down there.
I need to pick up a wiper motor from the boneyard. Anyone know if the intermittant vs on/off motors are the same?
I also want one with the washer pump in the tank. |

paul's right. I have some sort of pinkish/black stripe wire, and black wire. I guess its some sort of diagnostic wire?? The plug fits, we'll just have to figure out how to spice it all together, to get them working.
wiper problem I think might be internal with the column......paul, AFAIK the motors are the same, the switch and the internal components on the column are what differs between 2 speed and intermittent. _________________

nah, I'll be nice to it for now. Its got some nasty blowby. I'd like to make it there and home piloting said third gen, and not have to have the assistance of a trailer and truck, if possible. _________________

can I plug that line on the baseplate of the carb with the "T" joint to my PCV without any ill effects?
If so, I'll put a breather on each valve cover. _________________

yeah, I just need to get a second muffler. You never told me if that Flowmaster you have was a Center/Center or a Center/Offset. If its offset on one side, I can clear my rear bumper.
Come on...sell it to me...DO IT!! _________________
