i have a '92 camaro rs. ive been reading all sorts of articles on here, and TGO about the infamous "air shocks" and how they break the thin top barrier on our cars. now my question is this, if i was to take out my back seats, and put a 1/2 - 3/4 thick rectangular solid iron plate across where the shocks connect on the top, would this help from causing breakage? i know im going to be told that i should not even put them on, as i have read articles before so id prefer not even hearing about it, sorry for the rudeness and thanks for suggestions.

I have ran air shocks for several years without any problems. Including lots of track passes. Just now I am changing to the 50/50 lakewoods

I am only saying that my car has done well although I am sure there have been others that may have had the problem. If I were you I think I would try to figure out some way of maybe making something like some washers or something that will make it a bit more sturdy. Since I am going to a transbrake I am taking them off since the rearend is to stiff on the launch. Just something I might do if I was to reinstall them

And Danked you were banned once, and you are going to be banned twice. Wink

The e-mail address looked like it might be you, but I was nice and let the account go. Now that you have posted, the IP address proves without a doubt it is the infamous danked. I guess now, I will need to ban the whole IP bank that your ISP is using, so we won't have to see any more posts by you, about the same thing.

Get a life my friend, you got banned once, please leave. It is quit sad that even after you were banned, and told us what a bunch of jerks we are, that you are so desperate to sign back up here.

Good bye.
