My driver's side interior door handle on the GTA broke off Sad So I'm using a wrench to open my door currently... Anybody have an extra handle laying around?

You can pick them up pretty cheap at a Napa if you have trouble finding one Jess. Does this mean that you are working on it?

They break often. Last time I went to U-Pull-It I got 3 for $5. All off of Pontiacs. I figured if they were on a poncho, they wouldn't have gotten much use Laughing so hard it hurts

I'm driving it more than working on it currently. I had to put new O-rings in all the injectors (major PITA) and I have a new power mirror for it that I haven't gotten around to painting yet. But the budget doesn't allow for any GTA fun money yet, so its a slow work in progress.

Is it a pain job or an ok job to replace them?

Laughing

Actually I am a little Embarassed , when I read your post the first time I thought you were looking for exterior handles Jess - that was the basis for my Napa suggestion so just ignore.

Jess, if you go to get handles from a U-Pull-It take a cordless drill with you and some drill bits. The inside handles are riveted on. And unlike me, make sure your drill battery is fully charged before you leave for the bone yard Embarassed

I have one you can have if you pay shipping Jess, I'll even send you a new rivet with it Laughing

with your door panel off it's just one rivet and the little plastic clip that holds the rod on, drill it out, change handle, rivet a new one in
if you ever get out this way I would gladly do it for ya Very Happy

Thanks Rich! Coming slowly but surely, get the new door handle on and the new power mirror then all thats left for "body work" (not counting paint) would be nice seats.
