Contrary to posts on TGO, it seems that not all hatch hinges are the same. My new hatch has a funny bent wave shaped hinges on it. The hinges also stick up past the trim at the top of the hatch so they're visible from outside. And worse yet they're 1/4" taller then my originals. I'm not sure if this is a difference between cali cars and norwood. Mine happens to be a Norwood car which is fairly rare on this side of the country. Was trying to get the new hatch to fit and it kept coming out too tall. I hope this is why. Anyway, here's a few pics from my wanted thread.
