During a rather eventful trip to Tumwater's Pick-A-Part yesterday, turbo_jimi and I came across a fiberglass hood from an '82 Crossfire Injected Z28. I know I have always said I like my flat hood, but I just had to have this one! And it was only $28! Cool It is missing the 'flappers' but thats cool 'cause I'm gonna put screens in it. The hood is at Jame's house right now, so Hopefully he can post pics of it.

On the crap side of our little adventure, the clutch in James' '98 Camaro blew up in the parking lot and stranded us down there for a while in the rain. I think he is pissed off enough to sell the car at this point. Sad

Those hoods freaking rule! I got one on my 83. So does Quasi. Both of us took the flappers off cuz the open holes just looks sweet! Can't wait to see the hood on the car!

I used to have one jake, I have since sold it.

My Berlinetta has a flat steel hood.

you won't have to worry too much... there was a setup floating around that was somewhat like brandons odd cowl setup ... let the flaps stay open or off and the water for the most part was pushed to the back and out a tube while the air was mostly moisture free to go through the air cleaner...

I love those hoods, they look better than the iroc hoods IMO, especially without decals and repainted haha

Except I have a CAI so my intake air is coming from under the left front fender. I don't want water spraying on my distributor and MSD box! If I was experienced with fiberglass I'd fab something up on the underside of the hood to drain the water. Sad

I paid $40 for mine,it was complete.
You know that junk yard did not even pay $200 for the whole car.
