Might steal an A/C blower and swap the fins. Have to cut the armature down a but and thread it.

I know...I'm kind of trying to avoid that method...but if it comes to it, I'll cave and do it.

They come up all the time on TGO. Only problem is most people want a fair bit of change for them.

Brandon,

Got on NAPA's website and checked out a new blower motor. I found two for a Non/AC car..a premium for $43.99 and a value for $19.99.

Is there any difference between the premium and the Value series in terms of warrenty and of how well the motor works?

No idea. Alot of napa stuff has a shorter warranty the more you pay for it. Which is really strange. I think we only stock/sell hte cheap line at our store. My last one was a Semens brand.

I guess I'll give the $19.99 one a try then.

Came back to town this afternoon with a new blower motor and changed them out in the berlinetta....still not the problem.

Started checking wiring and my grounds...all seem to be rock solid. Figured I might as well try the resistor

Took the NewBlower motor back one back and bought a new resistor....TA-DA!! FIXED!!! Rock on!

now I just have to reconnect my engine bay hoses, and i'll have heat!

not yet, thinking about switching the location of two of the bolts. It was the allen bit that was sripped on the bolt right? why not just put one in that doesnt have a stripped allen head? Any reason why we didn't do that spesifically?

Doing that and remounting the torque arm tomorrow. Eventually I'd like to relocate the TA to the crossmember, but I haven't quite figured out a way to engineer/fabricate that yet.

Thinking about ordering two Dynomax 4" round (2 1/2" pipe Dia) 'bullet' mufflers and mounting them almost parallel with the rear frame rails. Mo-Fo will be loud without a doubt, but that's ok.

Found a way to route it that I like. Looks like I"ll be able to tuck it up pretty tight to the body too!

check this out

more details will be in another thread, the closer it gets to me making this happen.

we did not do that originaly because the allen heads on those header bolts strip out to easy. they are a bunch of BS. if you want allen headed header bolts you need dedicated alen headed bolts, none of this hex/allen Bollux. Rolling Eyes

i advise buying a whole new set of header bolts.
