| Dude, you should never leave your house. This world is out to get you. Between deer, and freak wind gusts blowing trucks of the road... |

My buddies and I trucked his crap back from North Carolina this last weekend. I had passed out just a minutes or two before this (Alex was driving). Then this happened. We all jumped out and the first thing Alex says is, "Ian, this only happened because I brought you."
The whole trip was one big oddity. Between my flight into NC being redirected 90 miles because of fog, the korean taxi driver doing 65 down backroads (in the very same fog the plane couldn't land in), a strip club in west virgina that seemed to be filled with girls that looked like ex's of mine, helping some couple in illinois push their broken car off the freeway and getting yelled at by the police, a freak snowstorm in montana that had me doing 15 mph on the freeway, breaking in Mt Rushmore just to see fog and no faces....Let's just say it was interesting. I have never laughed more in my life than this last weekend.
Oh yeah, this truck only had two seats. We had three people. We thought a beanbag would be an awesome center seat. It was. Until this wreck.
Joe, I think you were the only one in the crew to see my first bird all banged up from my 360 into a field. Which was almost as fun as this. |

Damn Ian! If you had been driving I would suggest you stay away from all motor vehicles for a while. Then again, that may not be such a bad idea! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Ian, did you by any chance happen to kill a million baby rabbits, or do something so horrible that your karma is forever ruined? I would say take a vacation, but it would probably end up sorta like this trip.
BTW, am I reading this correctly that you broke into Mount Rushmore? |

Not that I know of. Life is just out to throw me a curveball I think. Or 5-10 at a time. Meh, as long as I'm still alive it makes for an interesting story! And Mt rushmore... well... I plead the fifth. They wanted 8 bucks a head to get in! That's nuts! We didn't even know if we could SEE the rockface because it was so foggy. But I dumped some cash in the donation bin just because.

I will say one thing. While I simply detest wyoming; the people are nicer than anywhere in the country. We had so many people stopping asking if we needed help. Everyone from a dude in a modded 4thgen, to hippies in subarus, to a couple truckers and tons of guys in jacked up trucks. That kind of thing just doesn't happen around here to me. |
