Has anyone ever tried to replace the push/pull style switches Chevy used on the Camaro with the three-button switches they used on the Birds? I like the button style much better than the knob, and I have a black three-button switch and harness off an old Buick.

I'm wondering if they interchange with minor rewiring, or if anyone has even tried such a thing.

Thanks.

i have the pontiac service manual if you would like photos of the pages relating to the wiring of this switch. i can email them to you.

i think this is a great idea. i hate those cheverolet switches as well. of course if i owned a camaro it would have an entire firebird dash swap. i verry much dislike the camaro dashes, as i am sure many camaro guys dislike the firebird dashes (and pop-ups).

Hate some stuff, like how spread out it is. But I like those switches. Shoot me those pics though. I might make a future project out of this.
