Thanks for the welcome guys. Yea the car runs 11.50 no nitrous as it's best time so far. I'm still ironing out the bugs. I do have nitrous on board though cause I am shootin for 10 seconds. I have a 383 11:1 forged everything, trickflow heads with cnc chambers and full port and polish,Toker II manifold all port matched to heads W/2 inch carb spacer (changing to Super Victor now) nitrous HP cam (changing I think soon to a better grind), hedman longtubes, tons more My mods are in the VB garage over @ thirdgen.org. Car has a TH-350 with 4k stall and protree brake with 4.11 yukon geared detroit trutrac moser 9 inch rear. M/T radials. Before installing the TH-350 w/brake I had a built up 700 that I built myself and thats when it ran 11.51 @123 but I have yet to get some runs on this new trans. I would hope it is faster but so far I have had several bugs lately that I have been taking care of so it can utilize the launch. I've done all the work on every aspect of the car from building the engine from bare block to building transmission and rearends to wiring and Roll cages. Lots of work but whole lot of fun! _________________

113 LSA 274/292 .488 .501 for now. Last time on the scale it weighed 3550 with a half tank of race fuel, me and my fiance in the car, and full bottlecourse that was on a truck scale and im not sure how accurate it is. Im planning on dumpin more weight this winter! Ill have to look into that mismatched wheel combo Im looking at going to something with tighter LSA like 110 or 108 and around 300 or more duration with .500 lift along with the cam swap Im going to changing rocker ratios from 1.5 1.6 so these mods should net me a stout increase. _________________

Welcome to the crew!

We are pretty good at drinking beer too!
haha, great looking car, the stance is just mean. What sort of 60' times does that thing pull down?
I love that you kept the 82-83 Z nose on it. Most people switch to the later style noise. those early Z cars just look mean when you give them that drag race stance.
Great looking car, and great project. Keep us posted on the times you get with the giggly-go! _________________

hey shut up jake at least my car is....... uhm.... slower then yours. crap.
EDIT* hey the "size" tags don't work. that was supposed to get smaller in font size as it went on to give the impression that i was trailing off.

Well the funny part is the 60's have sucked but that was before I had the TH-350 in, and I had a tight converter on the 700-r4 (2400 holeshot) my usual was aroun 1.7. Car has a crazy midrange and top end and thats where I was getting my times hence the 120+ mph with mid 11 seconds. Now that I can acually get a good launch hopefully I can pull some better 60's now. Thanks for giving me a warm welcome. Everyone has been great! Is anyone planning on going to the track again before the end of the season? _________________

I think I may be going to a track not this friday but maybe the coming one. I've got the new 2-step installed and changed a few suspension items hopefully it will net me a gain along with getting used to this whole transbrake idea _________________

| what track do run at? I don't know what the seattle guys have planned. Since you are from up there, I assume you are going to mission, or sir, or bremerton, or somewhere up that way. |

I think I am going to try to go Oct. 20 to Bremerton Raceway and see if I can get a couple of passes in before I tear some things back apart and install some better items _________________

| Maybe I'll go too, just to see what my "new" stock '89 will do. If I break something, it's alot closer than PIR. |

Hey Al Hasse dont worry. I come from quite a ways to race so I just trailer the car down. If you break I can always give you a ride home if it's not to far. Im coming from up on the coast. Thanks QwkTrip it's nice to finally talk with some people that have the same interests since most people around my town have imports. _________________
