strut tower brace. it is to keep the strut towers from flexing around corners. makes the car feel more solid and helps maintain steering geometry. will make your car less eratic.

thanks tony! does anyone know a site to directions on making your own? i have access to a a machine shop with a quarter million dollars worth of tools, equipment + steel. i cant find a thread anywhere that explains in detail the dimensions of it.

bolt down the two mounts, then weld to them a piece of steel bar. make sure it clears everything, bendas needed.

done.

as much as i hate to inturupt the inventive repartee going on here... he probably gained access to said $250,000.00 worth of tools after he paid $50 to have welding done. as anyone with that much $ in tools would atleast have a light duty welder.

BTW speaking of screw drivers, you know how sometimes youloose a screw driver. my dad has every screwdriver anyone has ever lost. he has one of those big rollaway boxes, one of the lower drawers is FULL of screwdrivers. and you know the funny thing, i can still never find one in the size i want. Rolling Eyes

Heh.... I probably do have seveal million dollars worth of tools somewhere. I can only find about $21.50 worth of them at any one time though. Laughing
