Yeah. Two inch spacer. Basically for the ugly wheels, and the wheels are for the brakes. Big shiny red brakes.

Back to the salt mines now.

It's sitting like this with no spindle right now waiting for all the newer stuff to go back on.

Very Happy

if you are swapping calipers (i assume your swap includes calipers) why are you securing your stock caliper out of the way with zipties when you could be removing it and throwing it accross the garage? Wink

also, looks like fun Smile can't wait to get ahold of some wheels so i can start mine. though first i have to sand off all of this black acrylic house paint somone put on my aluminum calipers Rolling Eyes anyway you have PM regarding wheels Surprised

Mainly so I don't have to deal with brake fluid all over the place or knocking over a bottle if I just let the line drain into a cup.

Only problem now is I don't have banjo bolts.

The banjo bolts I have fit our style calipers which are significantly different thread than the c5 which are different than the ls1 style.

Should've called me anyways, I spent most of the morning at the municipal courthouse trying to figure out why I have an outstanding ticket.

True, and most of my tickets are deserved. But I never got pulled over for this one. Never got the actual ticket. So I'm really confused. Shrug

Nope. I tried to get a copy of the ticket today but she said it, 'wasn't where it was supposed to be and would have to mail it to me'

But she told me what it was for. A speeding (18 over), no insurance and failure to obey signal or something.

Not that I know of. And even to the unknowing, it'd be hard to pass him off as me. Really, as anybody but himself.

Forgot to post the finished picture.

And one form tonight for good measure. The composition of this shot isn't what I would've liked. I would rather see where the tires meet the pavement and just a bit father to the right. Oh well.

I also cut a quarter coil in front so it's raked a bit more now too. I'm happy. I choked myself on the way to work this morning, slammed the brakes and suprised even me!

Nice. How would you rank the difficulty of the swap? I see the corvette caliper, but is that a corvette rotor as well? Whatever it is, looks good! What are the final specs (12.5"x1.25 with 2 piston?)?

As long as you have all the parts it's simple. Just undoing the old stuff, and bolting the new stuff back on. Basically just like doing wheel bearings and a brake job. Would be a good time to do ball joints, tie rod ends, and solid TRE adjusting sleeves.

Yeah c5 rotor as well as caliper. I'm not 100% sure on the rotor size itself. I want to say 13" (12.95 or something?) x 1.25
