Update: We are taking orders for any parts with a "buy now" button. Local pickup and shipping are both options and shipping is automatically included. All pictures should be up by the end of the week.

Another update: We have our first website sale! If anyone has any feedback on the system we would be happy to hear it.

-Alex

Still working on debugging the request form.

Are there any more parts people are on the hunt for that you would like to see up?

www.grassrootsgm.com

About myself: My name is Alex, I'm an 18 year old student at Pacific Lutheran University studying business administration/accounting. My first car was a 1992 camaro RS and I have been in love with the F body and the platform it provides for the backyard performance person who has a small budget (or a large one).

My dad and I have restored 4 thirdgen cars since my first one when I turned 16. Throughout that time we got very good at getting to know about every junkyard and auto auction in Washington to hunt down parts. We also developed a garage of parts the size of a car quest store as we bought parts cars and stripped them down for our projects.

Please note... The website is up and running but I am updating things constantly to work out the bugs. Everything that has been listed we have at least 5 of so don't worry about stock running dry.

If you could change something about the current parts suppliers to better suit your needs, what would it be? I built and run the website myself so any suggestions made I can actually accommodate and perform. I would like to serve the northwest camaro community the best that I can while getting myself through school as well.

Also, if you can think of a part that is in common need that I haven't listed, I'll be happy to start tracking down a source and posting it, new parts will be posted and the catalog reorganized almost constantly over the next couple weeks to get it running smooth.

Thank you everyone that took the time to read this post. Any comments, suggestions, questions, etc would be happily welcomed.

-Alex,
Grass Roots F-Body and Corvette

Local third-gen speed shop within easy driving distance of my house.... Get down and Boogie! Get down and Boogie! Get down and Boogie!

Site has a lot of dead end links, but definitelly on the right track.

Yup, we should have the storefront/shop fully open by mid september. The site should be in the "finished product" stage by friday. I've got 6 family members with a history in business and Columbia Bank backing me, so i'm going to do everything I can to run a class operation.

Good site, lots of stuff. BTW, thanks for the 4th gen seats, they should go great in the '89. I'll call next week to see when you're available so I can come and get them.

The only thing i don't like about online stuff is the fact that its online! I've only used my card number online once in my life. I like to call someone, and get a voice with a name, so if you have a phone for placing orders and payment that would be sweeeet.

It's quite expensive to operate phone-credit card orders, and it is VERY safe to process credit card orders online, google checkout is top notch. Customer service line is 360-292-3694 (for the moment) if you'd like to get in touch with us.
