Looking to install an Edelbrock Intake Manifold :Performer/non-egr (part 2101) and an Edelbrock Performer 600 Carb (part 1406). Wondering what kind of Fuel Pump and Filter should I go with on this set-up and looking for any advice for anything else that will optimize this part of the upgrade. Thanks!

| What do you have on it now? An on-block or in-tank? |

im running the edlebrock performer intake and a holly carb and i had to switch from an electric fuel pump to an on block mechanical. works great now also i don't have to worry about fuel pump wires anymore.

I have an electric choke and it works well once you have it adjusted right. manual is just a pain

Electric choke I think would be better for an F-body. I wouldn't want to have to route an extra cable through the firewall and find a place on or under the dash to mount a manual choke cable. Electric is just a matter of finding a hot wire, doing some splicing for a 12v source.
...or were you talking about going with mechanical vs Vaccum secondaries on a carb? _________________

i've used the stock pump for 6 years with my my edlebrock intake and carb. until i installed a holley mech. pump it runs at 7.5 psi@80 gph. the holley electric pump and regulator is a lil steep in price. but i needed something to feed my holley. i decided to swap out carbs after being sick of the elderbrocks keep flooding and killing my my car when taking sharp turns. holleys don't do that. _________________
