Welp, the first batch of beer from the (ok we really don't have a name yet...) brewery, finished. It is VERY good.

I thought the picture of the fridge was great though!

Anywho, any of you P-town folks, who want to try some, just shoot me a PM if you are going to be in the Gresham area, I'll let you come over and try one.

I'm always up for a good brew..............who's homebrew?

BTW....check out www.samadams.com ....they have a homebrew 2007 contest. There's like a 10K cash prize, and they market it for a year.

Bart and I brewed it. If you want one, stop by sometime and have a beer.

Whats this "have one" and "a beer" stuff?? You being stingy with us John? Must be good stuff then! If it tasted like budweiser you'd probably give it away. Razz

Nice batch, I always liked "Cascade Crew Brew" as a name.

I have some "Novacaine" bottled right now, it's a 11% barleywine brew.

(barleywine is as strong as wine, but since it is made from grain rather than fruit it is in fact a beer.)

Down the hatch

Don, that sounds like a nice drink!

I kind of like "Dew Brew", but seeing as it is a combined effort, we need to incorporate barts name.... Hmme, Lama Maximus Brewing Co. LOL.

I really want to do a tripple belgium and use some good yeast, and go for the 10%-11% range... I think tomorow since we have the day off, we are going to start a new batch. Bart was going over to FH Steinbarts today (if they are open), we will see what he comes back with.

Them are good beers.

After 3 of those I was going to climb up on the roof of John's house and watch the lightning storm last night.

You know, to get a better view. Laughing
