| Being that you get disconunts, look at SLP, Hooker, or Hedman. They are all abotu the same. Go with whichever you get the best deal on. |

only interior pieces... besides is'nt this coming from the guy with a bottle cap holding up his clutch reservoir or somthing? and the guy who we had to pull over for so he hould plug a wire back in that falls of somtimes?
i only "tony-rig" on the side of the road.... and my "tony-rigs" are freaaking automotive art. chris can vouch, the brush is to piccasso what diagonal cutters and electrical tape are to tony. |

| well, the bracket for the purge noid is kind of flimsy, so the bottle cap just holds it up, it is just sitting between the heater-box and the noid, to keep it from rattling and moving. |

If you're going to go that route, just by a crappy universal off-the-shelf cat and install it for the test. Clamp it, don't weld, and then you can replace it with a straight pipe afterwards.
Or you could do like good ol' Dewey did, and weld flanges to each end so you can remove it without using clamps. |

I've been thinking about either a system like that, or true duals, but it's too closed-ended. If I want to swap in a new engine, or a trubo setup, I'd have to rip out the exhaust to do it.
For now I'm going to leave what I've got on there, and get some money for another build-up. |

I'm leaving the cat on my Car, even though I don't have to DEQ....
Just one more thing to clean up emissions.....besides, is not like its going to be that much of a restriction for my less-than-mighty 305. _________________

exhaust wise, don't just get some painted headers, spend the extra cash and get coated headers, or at a minimal, stainless. having headers that look like shizzle after awhile kind of sucks, not to mention the whole heat thing.
the headers i bought are stainless and coated along with the y-pipe and I think for the heat reduction in the engine bay alone I'll be happy
for shorties, the Jet Hot Coated Hookers are usually best for a non-stainless header, but the SLP Stainless and Ceramic Coated are probably the best ones around, but most expensive at anywhere from 650-750 for a set with a y-pipe
medium or long tube headers, not as many options that work well, with the majority hanging too low, but PaceSetter makes a good set for the 3rdgen.
for cat-backs... Corsa and PaceSetter make nice sounding exhausts, though not as common as a flowmaster or a hooker aerochamber like a few members here have
its all a matter of cost and personal preference though, if you want non-coated headers its up to you of course, but ask those who have them and get their thoughts.
a header is a header when it comes down to it, but how long it lasts is up to you and your $$.
also, a good alternative to header bolts/studs are the Breslin split-lock locking header bolts... pretty nice, cost a little more but are well worth it _________________

| i also like the idea of a torx header bolt (they do make em), this allows you to get a bit in there and actualy tighten them. i plan on getting some. |
