ok so i wanna get a 3.73 gear set for my rear end but im not totally sure which rear end it is other than its a 10 bolt but im not sure what size or splines or whatever little help please Smile

If it is stock from 85, it is a 7.625" 10bolt with 26 spline axles.

Axle splines don't matter on the gear set.

Look it up by application and you'll be fine.

Richmond makes great gears, but they are noisy.

Yeah, unless he is changing carriers, the spline count won't be an issue.

You might see if this rear is still available. If it is, bolt in and go. It's also a disk brake rear.
