ar ar, ok I get it.
The 3.1 is a variant on the 2.8, I have 2 of those already, 1 in my Z24 and another in the daughters Cutlass. Its a great engine, both with over 150k on the clock. The Z24 is an import eater.
I have a 3.8 Gen II in my Grand Prix GT, another great motor, plenty of power and gets me 30 MPG.
I really dont see the point of slamming a V-6, I'm looking for another commute car and just happen to like late 3rd gen birds.
I also have 3 V-8's, a 350 Vortec in the Yukon, my birds hold a LB9 and a L69, more GM greatness so Im well aware of how neat 8 cyls are. The LB9 has about 64k on it and runs flawless without the need to wrench on it every weekend.
Anyway Ill just cruise the V6 TGO board and see what pops up

| The car is at Seaview Chevy, its an 91 so the cover is correct. Too far for me to drive, it may be a basket case of course the sales guy wont tell you that. |

The cover isn't correct. It's missing the molded in gfx as well as the gfx on the front of the fender. Unless the rest of the set was added without the front end. _________________

well, i can't find "search" on TGOs new skin. but if you can search for "about to buy a 2.8" with me as the post author. go to the bottom of the list. my first two threads ever were about that. some 2 odd years ago. i remember them being verry informative. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

I just found out the muffler fell off and it seems to have door damage
Is the front air dam molded into the nose? |

Door damage? Yikes. The seals probably aren't liking that keyholder either. Rear quarter panel poked near the tailight.
The lower gfx are molded into the bumper, it's a completely different version. Although if that one is in good shape you can still get a pretty penny for them from people swapping the older nose to that newer one. |

We saw your dyno numbers.
I think RED performance parts will look nice on your GTA. |
