Found an 86 iroc ,
Needs right front quarter panel, they took it off to use it on another car.
Driver’s door needs replaced, maybe a hood, could be fixed but don't
Ground efx all good , but plastic around pass head light is bad as well
know if we want to mess with it.
It’s got 4 wheel disks
Was a tpi with auto, they are gone now.
Don’t now if I want that much work yet, will see tonight.
The kid’s 87z stuff should bolt on.
Any concerns?
He wants $300, it’s a t-top.
Scott

Where do you guys go to find these rolling chassis?

I want to be able to find one with a blown motor or trans (if trans, preferrably a automatic so I could put mine in it, motor has to atleast be V8 )

Scott, for 300, and needing a fender, door and hood, it almost sounds like it would be easier to just fix your car already... the plus of a rolling chassis is that the body can still be in good condition, and you'll pay little to no money for it! Should wait for "that perfect one"... dont rush it or you'll regret it.

Been wondering where you ran off to scott! That krispy kreme chick didn't convince you to run away with her, did she? Laughing

I don't see to many rolling chassis around here so you may not find much else. Who knows. But for the cost of the door, fender, etc you'd probably be better off with something else. Something dirty in a field that you can clean up and swap all your parts over to.

he's right.....I wish I'd waited too....I'd have had an 83 Z/28 with a L69/5sp in my garage...THAT RAN... (but it had T-tops, so not too perfect)

Ya, the car was a piece, to much work.
I wouldn’t take it for free.
So we are still waiting for a shell or another car.
Shoot I might have to drive to Vancouver again to find one. Crap......
Tired of my kid winning about his wrecked car, got to find one.
Then there is my youngest, 14, He wants an FL250 Honda odyssey, so I have been searching the world for that as well, in my price range.

Been very busy lately, lots of stress,
Was turning around my dump truck (IHC) in the drive way , (ok I went 4 feet out into the road) in my drive way and didn't see my neighbors brothers 2005 jeep GRAND Cherokee, bammmmmm.
I dropped the insurance 2 months ago because I only use it in the summer.
So far it looks like a 3,000 out of my pocket........
Shoot I was only going about 1 mile an hour.....IF THAT.

Kids car still runs and drives, has been a no issue car so far, I mean nothing except still sometimes idling issues, but it runs great. Even with that huge cam, thanks to you guys here on this board. Very fast, maybe to fast for his first car, (should have been mine, hehehe)

Thanks
Scott
