I was watching one of these pull and they were talking about boost pressures of over 100psi. |

LOL, please tell me I'm not seeing this right... they boosted it so much that the headbolts actually ALL snapped, and even after that, the force of it all made the head fly off the block? |

Look again.. the head bolts held.. the head is still on the block.. or part of it! |

Wow... that is insane... seen that brings back some old memories....
My very first car was a 1986 Dodge Shelby Charger... 2.2L Turbo.. and i found out the hard way, that there is such a thing as too much boost...
It was running about 18psi on stock internals and somehow a vac. line popped off one night while i was f**kin around on the free way... and hello overboost... followed by wheelspin... followed by boom... followed by smoke and two firetrucks... Bottom end was fine Cyl head had multiple cracks through the water-jacket.... was fun all in all...
I wish my buddy with the Teal RS had internet so he could post about his first race vs the little 4 banger... |

I do... i put about 8k into that car so it was basically perfect... the pics however are on my old pc which is at my moms house... i will stop by and see if i can get them tomorrow... mine was santa fe blue with the radiant silver stripe... |
