Well I was traveling on highway 20 and stop at a light and got rearended.
Lady driving a toyota camry
Hatch wont clost all the way. Had to use bunging cord to keep it close.
Some wrinkling around the gas tank filler opening.
Loked underneath at the frame it is tweaked.
KBB list this car max at 1700.00
My questions is what will my insurance do.
LMK what you think. If this is the wrong place to post this Sorry _________________ kurfbird

they will total it out for around 1500 or less (depending on condition, and what you can proove you spent on it). you will have the option of purchasing it back from them for $500. leaving you with around 1K to spend having a frame fixed and getting all that body work done (yeah eff-ing right).
what insurance company do you have? if it's a good one there is a chance they will go to war with the ladys insurance company on your behalf and make them spend the 4K + to fix it (stranger things have happened). but more then likly you are screwed. sorry dude.
this is why insurance companys suck. she did have insurance right? |

| It will be totaled. When our cars get rear-ended, due to the design of the rear panels, the labar to fix it, usualy gets them totaled. All you can do, is try to get the most money out of this as you can. |

You may actually be in luck if its the same insurance company. My mom got in a pretty decent wreck in her 96 olds this summer (dude made an illegal left in front of us) The damage actually exceeded the value of the car, but it was pretty close and they still fixed it. Take some pictures of the damage and shop around for estimates. It might not be toast yet.
Justin had a 91 Camaro RS that got rear ended by a truck...granted its newer, and had a 305....but he fought his insurance company for a couple months and they finally fixed it. _________________
