ok, ive got a set of spohn sub frames on my TA...went on no problem w/ the car on a drive on lift so the suspension would be loaded, just like everysingle person and the instructions said.

now, what if the car was completely stripped down to the shell, not even any suspension. at that time, there would obviously be impossible to load the suspension....and there would not be any stress on the body. so could the car just be on jacks and the connectors be welded in? or is this gonna tweek something.
ive been researching this for my charger. it seems that in the mopar world and on the forums people are just welding them (maybe they are just idiots Rolling Eyes ).

i have decided instead of doing a metal tubing sfc i am going to go this route, which is probably not AS strong but looks sooo much better.

the guy in that picture just welded them on while the car was on the rotisserie. seems like the car would be flexing weird if its hung like that but i dont know? any ideas of how would be best to go about welding them into my 69 charger??

thank you suspension experts

My square tube MOOv.2 SFC's look just like that, and are stronger.
