Question guys, and this is just a fun one.....

Which would I get more power from?

A TBICHIPS.com chip for my car

OR

A new muffler, yes, just a new muffler. Dynomax, flowmaster, something.

Just curious guys, got some extra cash,

thanks for the input,

Dylan. Razz

If you still have LO3 exhaust manifolds the mufler may not help. Will sound better though. I can't say with the chip though, I'm just a redneck with a carburated car. Very Happy

Chips not burned for your car = a shot in the dark...

Save a wee bit more for some headers...

I agreed 100% with Ian.

Get Headers, and a Catback on that LO3. Forget the chip.

no point in doing ANYTHING to a prom unless it is being done to your prom specifically (exeption= a factory prom update... it happens)

headers for sure.... then if you do more mods later you will see better gains since your engine won't have a quark in it's ass anymore....

QUESTION: would it have realy cost gm that much to add an axtra 6" of steel and make a "Y" pipe instead of a "T" pipe. Rolling Eyes

ANSWER: irrelivent, cost overwrites performance; as well as:
vehicle integrity (if they did there job in the first palce there would be no aftermarket for SFCs)
treating our employees right (they don't even get a discount anymore)
servicing our allready existing customers (charging $50 for a factory invoice, refusing to perform SAFTEY recalls)
design (T-Tops.)
common sense (2004R behind a 350HP TTA ?!?)
GM sucks... no wonder they are going down the drain....

wow.. i need to get off of my soapbox.... put the rant down and back away... Shocked
