|
|
Hey guys, been a part of the community for a bit now, and I just picked up a truck and flatbed and dolly to tow my wrecked/project thirdgens. If anyone needs a car or whatever project of theirs towed or hauled, i'll do it (in the washington area) for 50 bucks plus gas, 100 bucks from washington to surrounding states (more than 1 day trips may be extra).
I know this for alot of people is WAY cheaper than a tow company, just trying to share my equipment for others to benefit.

I'll keep that in mind. Could have used you last week when the astro dropped the tranny. |

I would tell you to make user of Mikes AAA membership.
(But, he found out there is a limit to even the platnium club.) |

Well I didn't have to drag it too far. Maybe 2 miles or so. Still would have been easier to just drop a dime and have it done for me. Was cold and wet that day. |

Cool! That is a very generous offer Alex(?). Thanks for posting up.
and yes, AAA wants you to chip in a bit after you tow yourself, your family your friends and your friends friends

P.S. I think your slide marks are still on the road out here Bart _________________ Red Sled: 89 GTA, 383, TKO, N2O

Its too bad you aren't in portland. I have 27 days (and counting) to recover my 3rd gen from SE portland or the city does it for me. _________________

You should tow your 3rd gen to dyno day, and bring your significant other. Then when my... I mean.. if a car breaks down at the dyno, you'll be there for 50 plus gas lol. |

heh, just keep the tow truck around. If I have to limp that 84 in on 3 of 6 cylinders, you know I plan on running that thing past its redline on the rollers. I'll probably end up frying half my valves in the process. Besides, its an excuse to upgrade to the combo I want in it....327 and 5 speed Tremec. Emissions will probalby not like that though....I still have to figure out a way to beat that though...stupid DEQ. _________________
