I don't really know what he says. Something along the lines of "I have flipped, I have flipped. Its not good...ohhhh...f*****-A". But my German is not very good.

I don't know about the convo, but when he first went backwards, his tail must have jumped up, because he was looking DOWN at the track just before the video cut out!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Damn shame too, looks like he was making good time on that run! WOW, cut those corners just right!

Cool video Very Happy

First thought was a blowout, that may or may not have caused him to loose control.

You can hear a bang just before he goes into a slide (14.5 seconds into the film).

After further investigation I see a tie rod tapped to the output shaft failed, the wheel folded under and caused the launch Mad

I had a chance to meet a 911 GTR cup racer, Kevin Buckler and hang out in his camp at Sears Point. He has taken on newr challenges though as of late with the GTO R

I was so disapointed by that car when it came out. We got a new one at the lot, six speed and all. I had to remind myself this wasn't a grand prix or grand am, this was the original muscle car, a blood heritage of power and tire roasting torque. Only molested by Pontiac to the point of blasphemy...

The GTO-R is still my pick for the drifting competitions. It looks way better in the pic above than on the domestic market.

If you think about it, the new GTO is basically the same formula of the original. Take a big engine and drop it into Pontiac's basic mid sized sedan and slap a GTO badge on it. Burnout But a more aggressive style would be a plus.

The real GTO's don't have the gas tank in the trunk though, and it wasn't designed in Austrilia.

Ha!

But see, that car was a newer model, and its body lines, as you can see, are a big carry over to the GTO.

Now the GTP, with the ram air...mmmmmm. I don't mind those. You got the right color too.
