Are there any shops around Portland, OR that have a flowbench?

I have several sets of heads that I've ported that I want to get flow numbers on before I sell them.

Well that just blows. Guess I'll have to look into those "make it yourself" ones that are fairly cheap and take a long time to get it all hooked up to get results.

It'll be worth it in the end though I guess :shrugs:

Thanks for the response though Smile

AC Nutter has a flow bench. AC's Specialtie's in Vancouver. Not sure if he uses it much, but he does have one.

Name sounds familiar, is he a crewbie?

I'll have to find his phone number and see what he charges. Would really like to get a custom cam ground for my setup before the dyno... also need to put those heads on the car yet...

Thanks Alloy. Figured if anyone knew, it would be you Smile

AC isn't a crewbie. He's a race engine builder/friend of mine. In fact I have my CNC turning center, manual lathe, manual mill, and my big bandsaw at his shop.

Ac has been building engines for a very long time, and knows what he's doing. Talk to him about what you want/expect from your engine combo. I'm sure he will have suggestions for you.

Tell him Dan sent you when you call or talk to him.

360-256-5787 is his number.

Dan, thanks for the number. I called him and asked him how much to have an intake and exhaust flowed. For a SBC he charges 65 dollars. A little more than I was hoping, but I guess you gotta pay to play, right? Wink.

Just wish there was a place closer... and in Oregon lol

Quasi, I havent. I will look them up and give them a call some time. Do you know if they have a flowbench? Or is that just a machine shop/speed shop close to yah?

I'm still looking around since I'll be having lots of heads flowed, and want to pass my savings on to my customers. Thanks for the heads up on that shop Smile
