| Which direction are you coming? I have a spare room (no bed though, but I also have a hide-a-bed). If you are taking I-80 through Utah, and Idaho, then hitting I84 on the Oregon side, coming thru portland, you are more than welcome to crash a night in Portland. (although once in portland, you are only about 2.5hours from you final destination. |

Im going to be taking I90 and route 2 either or. Basically Ill come in spokane way. I have til the 15th to report to my duty station so. Once Im in the area I may hang around and I might take you up on that offer. The navy is jacked up they are giving me 80% now to travel with is $750 and 20% when I make it. Then I have to pay for gas and toll and give them the reciepts that stuff will be expensive. I think Ill burn about $450 in gas alone plus I need to tune up the ride. |

| Hwy 2 is a nice drive, but expect to add 1-2+ hours to the drive vs. going I-90. |

hey FC, im in Spokane & if your going I90 then id avoid coming thru here from about 7am to 9am & 3-4 to 6pm due to traffic & construction
if ya need a place for the night on the way thru I could probably find a place for ya to crash

| wolfy lives right off the freeway exit in spokane he's a good cook and entertainer (reinactments from the movie Deliverence) J/K. lol Highway 2 is a nice drive if you like to stop at every town but it take you to the less congested area of I-5. I like I-90 until you hit the I-405 and I-5. People stop on the freeway when they see a deer. fubars every body's schedule. also there is alot of hotels on every exit through Spokane. You should stop at the one on Sullivan and its next to the New Hooters Night owl club and Casino (which my company supplied majority of the hardwood) Beer is expensive there i paid 12.50 for a pitcher of bud light. |

Tell me we aren't seriously entertaining the thought of letting wolfman make the first impression on a new member. For God's sake, the guy's claim to fame is shooting hotdogs out of his ass cannon.
pffffwwwooommmffffffffff
PS -- nothing but love for the wolfman. |

Best of luck, and most importantly have a safe trip.
When you get here, you need to get with the other WA folks, and get something going. I'm sure a few of use from the Portland area would go up there if something gets planned. |
