V8 is fun to think about. Jet engines are just cool, but this will probably get 6 cyl cause it is almost a straight swap. No need to worry about fenders, tranny tunnels, steering boxes, steering linkages, crappy light weight front suspension or any of that.
JY 6 and T5, off the shelf install kit, couple body panels a trip to el cheapo paint shop and she's on cl.

I need to pull some panels and look for hidden rust before I make a solid decision as to what to do.
There are certain places that like to rust from the inside out on these cars, unfortunately there isn't really any good way to know without some disassembly. I will start that this weekend.
