Finally got some nice weather so I figured I would take some snaps of the V fresh from detailing.

Been doing a few things to it.(hard to keep my hands off of it!)

I just tinted the side markers installed an LC-1 Wideband and retuned the pcm with a good solid road tune. Running much better now! Changed to a spark plug better suited to boost, and clean up a bunch of wiring and rerouted some wiring. Also changed a fuel line that looked a little sketchy! Also swapped out the harmonic since it was wobbling. (what a pain in the @ss since the balancers are pinned for the blower setup) I can now remove and install the new SFI balancer without having to go thru all the same trouble now that I made a half pin half keyway for the new part to clock it in the right position each time it gets installed now. ( wanted to do that so when I change the cam it will be much easier! Wink)

Also installed some new poly bushings but am working on changing everything over to poly as they become available. (Companies still working on making things)

You would be amazed at some of the stuff a tuner will turn off to show it not being reported. For example....... evap code small leak detected (gas cap is fitting loose) do we tell the guy he needs a new gas cap....... NOOOOOO we just turn the ecm to not report it anymore so the customer doesn't know. I laughed when I saw this in the pcm!

What do you guys think should I change the wheels to black, or chrome?

IMHO, wheel dudes rimslwould look great on your car. The flat black rim IMHO just looks lame. Show off the discs and add some purpose based bling to your ide.
