I figure we have a decently nerdy bunch around here that there has to be someone who has messed with emulators before. I've used a couple random ones over the years but I was looking to fire up some SNES Zelda and thought about using the xbox360 since the controller was a bit closer to the original snes controller vs a keyboard. Have any of you guys done this? What emulator have you used? How'd you transfer it over to the xbox?

I've been using mame with Mala as the front end. Not sure what to do for the snes. I don't use the xbox but use my pc with my xbox controller plugged into it. I've also used online NES emulators using my xbox controller and Xpadder as a convertor. Works fine for my super mario fix.

For my atari stuff.. I use real hardware. Smile

ZSNES on PC all the way. I've used it for a long time and it's always worked great for me.

You can buy a dongle to run a wireless 360 controller off the USB port of your PC, that would solve your controller problem.
