I sure did pick it up. Its going to take some work to get it road worthy. I really don't know if it is going to be ready while the weather is still good. I really need to get the Audi squared away first.
Ohh, here are some pics.

good find though mate, you'll have fun with it, I certainly would, size be damned.
and you can always step up to something larger, like what mikey has, or something with more power _________________

I'll give you a call tomorrow afternoon.
BTW, my phone should be working now. Saturday morning it was giving me a "system busy" message, and no phone calls would come in. |

| Hmmm I want one. I may have a place to store it, or a GARAGE rather, so that the folks don't know about it. One like that would be perfect too. Maybe a Honda. |

Unless I get crewbies to donate money or parts, I don't know that it will be going by the Oyster run. I think I'm going to start tearing it down this week. Looking at the wiring, and some of the electrical stuff, I think a re-wire job, along with new switches is going to be needed. I think I'm also going to need new throttle cables, and the carbs need to be rebuilt. The chain is questionable, and of course it needs an oil change. I think the brakes are still good, but needs a good fluid flush. The rear brake is not returning, but that may be as easy as a spring (rear drums). The tank also is quite corroded, so either a new tank, or I'll need to get this one cleaned somehow.
It is going to be some work, but it doesn't seem too bad. Just some time and money. But I really need to get the Audi fixed up first, that is priority #1. |

| Take the tank off and go out in the driveway and get a couple dozen pebbles about an inch in diameter. Put those in there and about a half gallon of diesel and start shaking the crap out of it. Will clean out the rust and stuff in the tank. Then just flush it out good and put it back on. |
