Body kit, yes. Functional exhaust and carb, no.
Is the door now the last thing before paint? |

| Not bumper.I was curious if you guys used the hardware that slides over the little nipple or whatever it is that seems to be an 85 only or so type thing. |

Oh that. I removed those. They were not that necessary. Just GM over-engineering if you ask me...lol! _________________

Don't those pieces hold the top of the fiberglass to the quarterpanel? It's been awhile since I had a gfx car. |

Hey I know your the only one with a berlinetta that has that crazy interior, if your missing pieces there's one out at the sherwood picknpull that still has the full interior. I never thought I would ever see another one in person. Lol _________________

Those are speed nuts. Don't think we are gonna use them.
BTW, we are not finished yet (obviously). _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

The speed nuts don't work for my idea, so if John wants to sell them, they're available. Shipping and/or transportation extra. _________________

This is a speed nut:
I had an '85 GFX car but I don't remember any speed nuts on the ground effects... as I took them off and threw them away. |

| That's what I thought speed nut was. They go on the piece that attaches to door. On the 85 and maybe. 84 there is a weird nipple type thing on rear in front of tire on car. So. Then I assume there must be something that attaches to ground effect that then in turn slide over said nipple. But beings mine were missing I can't verify what that piece is or what it looks like |

Speed nuts held my '85 Z GFX to the door and underneath the door. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

That diagram on tgo looks nothing like what we have. On ours, there is a metal bracket that screws into the skirt with two small screws. On that bracket, there is a speed nut "bolt" that would attach through the rear quarter panel that would need to be accessed inside the car. _________________
