Don't know if it's WC. Take the bell off and get a pic of the front cover.

V6 is 14 spline, V8 is 26. You can clearly see that that transmission has a 14-spline input shaft in the pictures.

When I say "input" and "output" shafts you need to think about how a transmission works.

It's not a wc. No wc had a dex ii tag. Its a v6 model. You got hustled. V6 t5s are free. A Ford or fourth gen will not work with a sbc period.

Furthermore that input shaft has a very long pilot bearing surface not indicative of a gm. It looks like a 2wd 2.8l jeep truck trans.

Has the GM tailshaft on it, though.

Tails are native to the mainshaft. Easy to swap for like era.

I used to convert v8 t5s into s10 shorter locations a lot.

Ahh, I was thinking that would require you to swap out the mainshaft.

Not that it helps but I skimmed over this thread and a thing to note about world class units is they have a recessed front bearing, the non world class does not, if its an original world class it will say timken on it

WC transmissions on the front of the trans have a flat (tapered) style countershaft bearing. The NWC transmissions have a cupped barrel style bearing.
