LB9 was ECM controlled as I remember. So I would guess bad coolant temp sensor.

If you can datalog (or know someone who can) you would be able to confirm this before purchasing parts. |

Dont have the AC or defrost on?

Also car shouldnt run below thermostat temp, even if the fan never shuts off. |

Idk, about the single fan setup but the dual fan set up on LB9's have a temp switch in the head for fan #1, and cooling fan #2 is ECM controlled and activated by the A/C switch.

Oh, and here's the stock temperature perameters in case anyone was curious.

Cooling fan #1 enabled at 107̊C (226̊F)

Cooling fan #1 off at 104.7̊C (220.5̊F)

Cooling fan #2 enabled at 115.2̊C (239.5̊F)

Cooling fan #2 off at 110̊C (230̊F)

Cooling fan duty cycle at 100% at 80̊C (176̊F) _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

AC off. Unplugged battery to try to reset, maybe I didnt leave it dead long enough...what is proper time to kill ECM memory?

I have a 170 T-Stat if I recall....

Put the second new fuel pump in, seems to work so far, was a fun weekend |

				| AFAIK there is nothing that the ECM learns that affects the fan. |

I have a new Hypertech switch, maybe Ill put that in, no access to data logger.

If my ECM is going out, and I replaced 2 fuel pumps as a result, I'm going to the moon. |

Ecm triggers a relay for the pump, not the pump itself. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
