So as you can tell by the other thread, I'm job hunting. Wanting to relocate and not be in this state. So I know the job market sucks royally right now.
I have my resume at 4-5 job placement agencies in the areas I wish to go to. I'm wanting to put it on monster and career builder. But when creating a profile, I dont see where you can put in the areas you WISH to be. Infact, monster makes you list a true physical address. Just "this town" is not good enough.
Anyone tried this? Any other sites? Any other choices I have brain farted on? |

What kind of jobs are you suited for? And where are you willing to live? (anywhere but in the South? )
Don't let the "slow economy" fool you. There are some companies where business is absolutely booming. |

Ok, just found on career builder how to key in for relocate
I'm a draftsman, prefer mechanical or architectural. I love mechanics. but I've always wanted to do architectural, just never found a job in it.
Key places are Nashville, Pensacola, or Tampa. I love the souths warm weather. So other places are open, but that is the key areas.
I spent my early childhood in Iowa I cant count how many days I got lost in cornfields. Almost got my ass ran over by a tractor one day. |

| Since you have it nailed down to 3 specific cities then you're probably better off looking up a list of businesses in those cities and making cold calls. |

If people can send jobs to India then they can send a job to you in Key West. |
