Yes. I am. My friend has a 320i. He says it works as a daily but the 325e is more fun.

well its my aunts car and it is a POS but my Uncle passed away sun morning at the age of 50 and therefore she wants to keep it. anyways it drove fine when they got it nd then it sat for awhile and then they took it to a mechanic and now it lacks power. it idles decent but as soon as it's in gear under load it wont even go up a small hill. so I am trying to do the easiest and cheapest work first. then work from there so any advice on trouble shooting would be greatly appreciated. if it were me I'd part itbout, but sentiment is making her hold on to it.

Familiar with the four cyl. in those, but not the six.

Need to check basic stuff, vacuum leak, fuel pressure, timing. Any of those could easily cause the problem you describe.
